Little Sunset 3
Inspired by calm sunsets in the Pasley Islands, this 12″x16″ piece is a study of how evening colors might reflect in a glassy sea. Sunsets are my favorite time to be on the water – floating under colorful skies that appear endless in the world around you.
The islands featured here are modeled after Pasley Islands Worlcombe and Little Popham, with Texada and Vancouver Island in the distance. Painting small confronts me with a unique challenge as my clean flowing lines are difficult to achieve on a small scale.
