On the misty West Coast of Canada there exists a remarkable place. A place of sea, of mountains, and of sky. Temperate rainforest trees hug mountainsides and winding rivers bring nutrient rich soils from their peaks. Where even the rainiest days are punctuated by life, color and movement. This place is known as the Squamish Valley. 

Named Sḵwx̱wú7mesh by the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh peoples who have lived here since time immemorial, the Squamish Valley makes up part of the southernmost fjord in western Canada. Crafted from volcanic activity and carved by glaciation over the past 2 million years this area has a rich geologic history where land meets sea and Earth systems are visible right at the surface.
