The water stirs, liquid glass broken for a brief moment as Orcas surface on their way across the straight. Vancouver Island sits calmly in the distance, its’ mountains and islands gently protecting a body of water that is home to countless species. The purples of dawn bring warmth against the coolness of the sea. We sit and await the day.
